Reconnect, Reflect and Restore
Nature Connection Sessions
Spend time connecting to your inner nature and to the natural world around you.
What do I mean by Nature Connection?
Fostering a Deep and Mindful Relationship to the Natural World

For me personally, I see nature and its creatures as important living beings that we are in a relationship with. By spending time understanding, noticing and being with them I feel more connected to them – as you would in any relationship. But we all have this inside us already. You may notice you feel more connected to different aspects of nature; perhaps noticing the birds when they sing, enjoying the sensation of being in water or feeling resourced when you lean against a tree. We are already connected to the natural world, we are nature ourselves after all, but that connection can feel lost or not noticed. All relationships take nurturing and this relationship is no exception. But by strengthening your relationship with the outside world you will feel nourished, accepted and a sense of belonging. So nature connection is perhaps more reminding ourselves of what is already there, strengthening that bond and noticing what comes from it and what we can learn.
What can the sessions be used for?
Using a variety of guided exercises, nature connection sessions can be tailored depending on what you want and need:
- As a way of deepening your relationship to the natural world.
- A space to nourish yourself, relax and de-stress.
- A place to seek guidance if you are feeling lost or stuck.
- Some time to connect with friends or colleagues in a different way and setting.
Whatever your motivation behind coming to a session, you will leave feeling nourished, present and more connected with the outdoor world.
What does this look like in practice?
The list is endless! But I appreciate that trying something new can bring a sense of uncertainty and uncertainty can be a barrier to trying something new…so here are some examples:
- An EcoNidra (guided meditation session) that connects you to your senses, body and the space we are in.
- A sense walk, where we focus on different senses, as we walk through woods.
- Looking at our relationship to the different natural elements (fire, water, air and earth) – considering what they mean to us and how we might experience them ourselves.
- Woodland Art or Mandala making.
- Moving to a space that you are drawn to and noticing what you find there.
…..and the list goes on!
Regardless of suggestions we will very much be listening to and checking in with ourselves throughout the session and not doing anything that feels too uncomfortable.

I am interested. What happens next?
Please get in touch so we can book in a session. A week or so before the session we will have a free phone call or zoom meeting to talk about what you would like to get out of the session, explain a bit about how they work and answer any questions you might have. You can then decide if you would like to go ahead with the session and I may make a suggestion of something you may like to do in preparation. A week or so after the session I will check in with you, after you have had some time for reflection, in case anything has come up you want to discuss.
